  Re: Ice Cream

(...) I like the CorelDraw idea. I think the best way to please both sides is to have a removable color bar and a drop-down list. If the color bar were to follow the true style of the Corel bar (which takes up very little room), you would be able to (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: MLCad wishlist (was Re: Ice Cream

(...) Just 'cause I can't keep my mouth shut, I'd rather see a drop-down color selection tool than an always-there color tool. Video real estate is limited as it is. Ditto for the zoom buttons. They'd go perfect in a drop-down list or dialog. But (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Part Authoring

(...) LDAO's Editor automatically adds the poll option when it launches LDLite. (...) Weird. Are you using version 1.6 of LDLite? I thought Paul had plugged all the memory leaks. Steve (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Clone DATs--any interest?

(...) One of MLCAD's great strengths is that is allows you to alter the units used in its three scales. They only default to Lego sizes. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) I've talked to Mike extensively about color selection... my advice was to have a "quick" color bar running vertically on one side of the screen, ala Corel Draw! with 32 or so color boxes... click the box and the currently selected object(s) (...)   Re: Part Authoring

(...) Right, and LDLite has a mode to make this work better, you can get it to "poll" for changes in the data so you don't even have to explicitly ask for a redraw. However, this usually hangs my system for some reason. No doubt it's me... (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Problems with Ldraw related sites

(...) The only other thing I'd want is a "MyParts" page, where an author could update just their own entries, without scrolling through everything in the current list. Would make it easier to update stuff already added to the list. Steve (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dev)
