  Re: *** LDView Version 3.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) That's very strange. It worked fine when I tested it last night before posting the announcement message. Now it doesn't, even with the same mirror that worked last night (easynews). I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong (I suspect it's the (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Problems using L3PAO on windows XP

Disappearing backslash? (was: parts i'd like to see in Lcad/MLcad)

XFUT lugnet.admin.general (...) This is odd. When viewing my original posting through the web interface, the backslash between 'ldraw' and 'parts' is not displayed. But looking at the raw message, the backslash is actually present. I wonder if this (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Any chance of deep links, as every time I visit this link I get the "folder is not yet public" message -----Original Message----- From: news-gateway@lugnet.com [mailto:news-gateway...ugnet.com] On Behalf Of Thomas Burger Sent: 30 July 2006 04:05 To: (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Problems using L3PAO on windows XP

Wait a sec... from the pov-file it looks like L3PAO actually call l3p directly, so I guess it's the path for LDRAWDIR that's wrong Anyways, don't start nitpicking about the file names - for some odd reason lugnet just want to hide the backward (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Problems using L3PAO on windows XP

As far as I can see, there simply isn't an autoexec.bat file on windows XP - so I can't follow Lars' instructions to tell the computer where to always look for L3p and Ldrawdir... So basically when L3PAO calls L3P, windows don't know where it is, (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: parts i'd like to see in Lcad/MLcad

(...) I'm guessing the one subfile you are missing is this one: (URL) Because that subfile is the entire part, except for the stud. Download this file to your ldrawpartss directory, and MLCAD should be happier. Steve (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  *** LDView Version 3.1 Beta 1 Released ***

LDView 3.1 Beta 1 is now available for download from the LDView downloads page here: (URL) This is a Beta release, which means that I'm hoping to get as much feedback as possible. This also means that it is likely not as stable as a final release, (...) (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, FTX)

I've tried downloading the files & subfiles (one subfile is missing-can't remember which now) & can't get them to work; onlt a stud shows up in MLcad jeff (18 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: 48 directory and non filename only line 1 part file names

(...) Yes, basically. It wouldn't make any sense to add the parts\s directory, because those files are segments of parts -- they aren't complete objects in any sense. They are only intended to be used by part files, which should refer to them (...) (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 48 directory and non filename only line 1 part file names

(...) <snip> (...) Is it correct to assume because of this, the 48 and s dirs must not be added to the part search directories list? Roland (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: 48 directory and non filename only line 1 part file names

(...) I've decided to drop the whole option for now, so the 48 dir is only used if parts reference to it by 48/xxx.dat . Roland (18 years ago, 31-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Using Blender to animate Ldraw models

Re: Using Blender to animate Ldraw models

  Official Library of POV-Ray Parts
