  Re: LSynth within LPub

(...) I was hoping that bendiness was based on hose type, but alas I think it is not. Might you want it on a segment by segment basis? I'll have to figure out what units to use. First I've got to get something released. Kev (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Anyone working on monorail tracks?

I did some scans in 100dpi yesterday, and am making a combined picture of each part with comments. I will be making a special scan for the curve in a higher reslolution afterwards. Cheers NB (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: LSynth within LPub

(...) Dunno how hard it is, but I think there needs to be a way to specify the "bendiness" of the hoses. I know I've had problems with it before which you whipped up a quick fix for (thanks!) but I just ran into a similar problem trying to do the (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Anyone working on monorail tracks?

(...) That might be overkill.. Though the higher the res the more accurate the measurement will be. Send me something smaller and I'll see how it looks. Also remember to include something in the scan that I can use for reference - I can't remember (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: LSynth within LPub

(...) The lsynth you run from inside LPub is the same one you run from inside MLCad. I'll see what I can do when I get home. Actually, what I need to do first is release the new LSynth. The issue that is holding me up is that I no longer want to (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

  LSynth within MLCAD tutorial

I have created a little tutorial that I use to show how to use LSynth in MLCAD (it is basically an extension of the holly-wood.it stuff with a few more details intended for wiring cables). This is intended for middle school teachers to use for their (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Anyone working on monorail tracks?

(...) What an excellent idea! It has completely flat sides, so no problems there. What sort of resolution do you want? (I think I can go up to 1200x1200 dpi without crashing the computer) Regarding the underside structure, the sides are completely (...)   Re: LSynth within LPub

(...) Well, I have found a workaround. It turns out that LSynth, at least the version embedded in LPub, doesn't process commands that are collected into an MLCAD group. I'm not sure why running standalone LSynth manually worked for me unless I (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

  LSynth within LPub

LPub has helped me create building instructions for an elementary school robotics program over the last couple of years (Many thanks, Kevin!). I'm now trying to show electric wires realistically on a model, but can't figure out the LSynth support (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 'Virtual' Preservation Project for CKS

(...) Meccano is best known as Erector in the states. Something the more purile Uk-AFOLS find somewhat amusing. Although that may preclude the A in AFOL. Rokenbok is an amusing little system - it reminds me of the Fraggle rock doozer constructions. (...) (19 years ago, 17-Oct-05, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.cad.dev)
