Re: New part: Slope Brick 33 3 x 2 with Red and Yellow Number 1 Pattern

(...) You're so right. I have made the adjustments. Now to look for my PT account for it has been too long since I posted any new parts :-) Jaco (19 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New part: Slope Brick 33 3 x 2 with Red and Yellow Number 1 Pattern

(...) Jaco Thanks for posting this. The "usual way" is to paint the background to the pattern in color 16 - to relfect the fact that only the non-brick colous are printed and the same pattern could be rendered on a different colour brick. (...) (19 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: CaroML development

One learns things everyday! I got curious why i have more than 3000 Classic Space parts but Peerom.com says i can't build a simple 20 parts classic space MOC. The MOC is basically 4 Balloon wheels, a Black Plate 6 x 2, a Yellow space minifig, a (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  CaroML development

Hi Dan, Thanks for these clarifications, as i said i am not a native english speaker, i usually use english when writing technical documents, i am a terrible diplomate and things get even worse if i have to negociate in a foreign language. So i (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

Damien, I would appreciate if you don't put words in my mouth. (...) In my email to you I asked 3 things: - Rename the program to something else - from what I understand, there is nothing in your program that is Peeron specific - it's much more (...) (19 years ago, 20-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

Hi again, People e-mail me questions about Peeroml. Considering i don't send the program and it can't be downloaded anywhere, politeness invites me to answer these questions here (as people privately asking are certainly reading this forum). (...)   Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

Hi Tim, Thanks for your comments. (...) I don't expect OCaml to spread like a virus, or being a popular scripting language. All that i have asked is a single homepage where people (eventually nobody) could have downloaded the whole thing. I didn't (...) (19 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

(...) Hi Damien, I fear that even with Dan and Jennifer Bogers cooperation this project may not spread too far as most people are unlikely to learn a new language (especially one with such strange syntax as OCaml) just for database enquiries for (...)   Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

(...) Hi Clark Stephens, Thanks for your comments. You have well anticipated what has happened to me yesterday. At first i thought cooperation means: * function and datas should not be separated but available at a unique repository site (Peeron.com (...) (19 years ago, 19-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

(...) IMHO there is no reason why someone can't invent something new. Especially as anything new would be still compatible with LDraw standards (otherwise the author would have to reinvent the wheel, the LDraw library and the existing Lego-Cad tools (...)   Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

Ok. So this is exactly the reason I didn't want anyone to invent a new animation scripting language for Legos! It is something new and is in danger of: being a sucky 1.0 release (or worse, never reaching 1.0), and not getting widespread use and so (...)   Re: What mailing list for Peeroml ?

(...) Damien, Please change the name of your program. Peeron is a trademark of Dan and Jennifer Boger. Your program is not associated with the Peeron site. The name you chose above has obvious similarities to the Peeron trademark, and may cause (...) (19 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

What mailing list for Peeroml ?

Hi lego fans, I have finished the package and documentation for Peeroml, a scripting tool and programming framework for lego inventories. Its scripting language is OCaml (URL) Of course questions about Peeroml are off-topic on existing OCaml mailing (...) (19 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.inv)

  Re: Lsynth and control points

(...) You mean the hose end parts? They should be fine, but if you're talking about something else, I'm afraid I'm too ignorant to know what it is ;-) -NB (19 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Lsynth and control points

(...) It looks like I have lsynth 2.0 (had to start the installer to find out: no "about" or version number in lsynth.exe or readme :-( ), so I guess the fix you got hasn't been implemented yet. -NB (19 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Help on custom kit in honor of Brian Kelley's son Joshua's life

Brian Kelley, who is having difficulty posting to LUGNET, asked me to post to LUGNET asking for assistance in creating a commemorative model to celebrate his late son Joshua's life.   L3PAO Install Problem

I've e-mailed the author and ldraw helpdesk. I haven't had a response yet and due to a time constraint, I'm posting here. The Portland State University lab uses Windows XP. When running L3PAO, it seems that the command line does not pass on to the (...) (19 years ago, 16-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Lsynth and control points

(...) I found a similar problem a while back, lsynth seemed to treat those hoses "not as bendy" as they actually are. I emailed kevin and he sent me an update that fixed the problem, I'm not sure if it has been released publically yet, but I'm sure (...) (19 years ago, 15-Sep-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
