(...) I used a few programs to finish off these images. Once the model was complete in MLcad I used L3P to convert the .ldr and .mpd files to .pov files. I used the L3P addon "L3PAO" to do this. Irregular pieces with limited need for subpart structure and primitives, like minfig accessories and headgear, strike me as the perfect thing to create with an interactive 3D modeling tool like 3dsmax, Maya, Rhino, Milkshape3D or whatever people (...)
