Povray with LGEO changes part 3464 into 3461

When trying to render set 386 using LGEO I noticed that the wheels with stub axles (part 3464) were replaced with helicopter rotors (part 3461). I find some postings about this dating 2 years ago. Is there a solution or workaround for this already? (...) (21 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Can I get a little help here?

I have made a few of my own parts that were not available. Start with the file that is close to what you want. open it in ldraw and modify it. save it as a new part in your models directory. Looks like you can modify the existing ladder and get (...) (21 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Suitcase

(...) That's actually an official part. It's in the official 2003-3 parts update at ldraw.org. --Travis Cobbs (21 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Suitcase

Has any one done the minifig accessory suitcase, part 4449? I haven't been able to find it and wanted to use it in my train station model which can be seen in it's current configuration at (URL) help in finding the suitcase or suggestions regarding (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 4.5V Semaphore Signal

(...) I came up with another solution for the two common color variants issue, without having four complete/shortcuts: Create the shortcuts without the baseplate, as the other parts share the same color. (all blue or all red) Thus having three (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Naming Technic Liftarms

(...) Well the only problem that I have with that is that I don't think "beam" describes the short ones (1x2, 1x3) as well as "liftarm", (which I agree also isn't the perfect name). They are all basically the same shape, which is what I think led to (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Naming Technic Liftarms

(...) Yes, except that there is still nomeclature confusion elsewhere, some systems use Technic Bricks for the bricks with holes and some systems us Technic Beams, I believe. So I think the rounded designation is helpful. (...) except that the 1x2 (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Naming Technic Liftarms

(...) I'm not sure that rounded is needed. Brick vs. Beam is very clear. Besides for bricks the count is the number of studs (always even except for 1). For Beams it is the number of holes (typically an odd number, except in the case of 1x2.) Kevin (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Naming Technic Liftarms

Personally, I think the naming should be like this: For parts with axle holes, use the Liftarm designation e.g. Technic Liftarm 1 x 11.5 Double Bent for part 32009 and Technic Liftarm 1 x 3 Thin with Click Rotation Hinge Half Socket for part 41679 (...)   Re: Bionicle Parts?

(...) Pretty much - they are BMP2DAT style, and I haven't chained myself to the computer long enough to redo them using quads, triangles & lines as appropriate. (too busy playing with too many LEGO models/cad projects :D ) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) I can't find those yellow castle (375/6075) stickers for the vests and shields at the PT. (URL) are those work in progress? looks like they have been bmp2dated. w. www.holly-wood.it (21 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Snatch it?

(...) Good question. In my view, all efforts to contact the author should be taken (and it sounds like you've been doing just that) but I am not sure that "snatching" a part, even one that's very rough and strongly desired and really only good for a (...)   Bionicle Parts?

Has anyone made any Bionicle parts for LDraw/MLCad yet? I've found these in Brickshelf, but they're old (and I had to do some re-engineering on them) and mostly mockups. (URL) some of the mockups on my brickshelf: (URL) particularly interested in (...) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Snatch it?

hi folks, there are pics. at brickshelf (URL) some parts which have never been submitted to the PT. this site even contains the .dat file: (URL) some former investigation I ended up at the authors website: (URL) tried to contact "Gonta" through a (...)   Re: Can I get a little help here?

(...) (URL) could make a quick mock-up by shortening the current LDraw parts. But that wouldn't snap directly onto studs like the short version does. To make the part correctly requires changing the dimensions of the rails and rungs. A 1x2 stud (...) (21 years ago, 27-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Naming Technic Liftarms

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but the naming of the technic liftarms leaves something to be desired. It seems mostly the thin ones have just the dimensions, thick ones have "straight" appended. Except for the 4L liftarms. Bricklink (...)
