  Re: Any Stinkers here?

Hi Mike, (...) I'm not an expert, but I've struggled long enough with it too. Here are some questions & tips: What version of the Ldraw radiosity includes do you have? I downloaded it recently and it works quite all right. What settings are you (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.general)

  Minifig Helmets

Noticed a few odd things about the Minifig Helmets on the Parts Tracker a few weeks ago (URL) first thing I noticed is that the newer version of the original helmet (the thick chinstrap version) has been assigned the new 3DN 593. I thought that was (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: [PT] Moving Letter Bricks

(...) Sounds like a good idea. To make things even more complicated, I recently won an eBay lot with numbered 3005's with a narrow font I've never seen before! (URL) (22k) I recall another problem with the letter bricks: Most of them are compromizes (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Any Stinkers here?

(...) I'm no expert, but I'll take a crack at answering this one. The radiosity setting allows for diffuse lighting, so instead of simulating one or more light sources, it simulates ambient light, almost like outdoors. I have used radiosity for some (...)   Re: Numbers Report - 10 December 2003

(...) Ya but this one is a good direction.. more certified, less need review, less need more votes. The next parts update should be a nice one! (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  [PT] Moving Letter Bricks

See: (URL) Tore asked (jokingly) if we were done moving parts yet, and if there was a plan. No, we're probably not completely done, and there's something of a plan. If you look on Peeron for Duplo 2x2 tiles, there is a fairly complete set of pattern (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Another question about LPub PLIs

(...) Has there been any resolution to the above problem, or perhaps a workaround discovered? I'm encountering similar, but not identical, problems with a model. In my case, parts that should not be greyed out are. In later stages, the items which (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Numbers Report - 10 December 2003

It keeps growing... and growing... and growing... ;-) Stats for Unofficial Files 365 certified files. 224 files need admin review. 402 files need more votes. 558 have uncertified subfiles. 174 held files.   Any Stinkers here?

I'm not calling names...I'm looking for someone who has a Brickshelf account under the username "Stinky". Can the person who lays claim to that name please contact me? I have a few questions to ask you about the radiosity stuff you've done here: (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.general)

  4099 Transformer MOC instructions available

A month ago I presented this transformer MOC: (URL) made buildinginstructions for those who like to build it too. You only need 1 4099 Robobot set! Instructions can be found at: (URL) did put the subparts in subfolders, and all subparts put together (...)   Re: Town Radio #3962

Though this a very old message, I would like to reply once more. In creating a model that uses this part, I noticed the second problem still exists. The handle is not broad enough. I think this should be fixed :-) See: (URL) gaps I mentioned are (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Primitive Generator program update

Another update for the Primitve Generator program is available. Version 1.9.49 Released 12/08/2003 Fixed a bug that would name cylinder files with a size number. Also found a bug that occasionally rotates the generated part around Y, So watch out (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: More cylinder primitives wanted

(...) Sounds good, I could have used this part several times. Another series "primitive" part I use is x-xhole.dat and x-xhola.dat. They get inlined before the part gets released. The x-xhole.dat is made up of an edge, ndis, cyli, edge, and a ndis. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  More cylinder primitives wanted

Just like there are a huge number of different box primitives, with different number of edges and surfaces, I wish there were some more cylinder primitives from n-ncyli.dat We have: * cyli = cylinder with walls, no edges, no disc On my wish list: * (...)   Re: anyone modeling these?

Train wheels and train motors (4.5 and 12 Volt)

When I searched the Partstracker to see if the first train motor (4 x 12 x 4) has been done, I only found the newer motor (4 x 12 x 3 2/3), x215. Shouldn't this part have it's size in the part name to distinguish it from the older and a bit larger (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad)

  anyone modeling these?

Hi, I'm thinking of modeling a couple of parts, but before I do I'd like to check that no-one is already doing them. I've checked the parts tracker and they don't appear there. The parts are: (URL) 'Brick 1 x 4 with Sloped Ends and Two Top Studs' (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
