Re: Bugs with the Parts Tracker

(...) First off, a bigger issue with this file is that it is a model, not a part. I feel it goes beyond the idea of a shortcut, or complete assembly. However, to your point. This file uses *3* unofficial files. Yes, they are updates of (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) Right. Do we want to work that out in lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, or are people OK with the LSC taking the discussion off-lugnet? Steve (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) OK, so let's figure out a better sort order. The possible 'statuses' for files are: - Certified! - Needs Admin review - Needs more votes - Subfiles aren't certified - Hold My thinking when I constructed the list and the sorting was: - Keep the (...)   Re: New Part: 2706.dat - Technic Action Figure Shoe

Hey, great to see you (two) are still working on the figure's parts; My Go cart is patiently waiting for a driver :) It looks about right... not much time to play with the part yet though. -Andrew (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

(...) Make deals with people. Trade reviews - you'll look at their files (and offer honest reviews) if they'll look at yours. (...) I'm sorry you've gotten that feeling. My feeling is that the current system gives a lot *more* power to the standard (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Legacy Files on the Parts Tracker

Going back a ways for this one... (...) I considered going a similar route when I constructed the PT: offer reviewers a list of checkpoints that they should consider when posting a review. I abandoned this thinking because the 'rules' for processing (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) This should be non-issue once we finally sit down and hash out exactly how to format and support the ldconfig.dat file. -Orion (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) Yup, I'm aware of the MLCAD custom colours, but there is a good reason for me not wanting to use these unilaterally: with tools such as LPub generating parts list images and inventories, I thought it might make sense to have a commonly (...)   Re: New Primitive: Stud11.dat - Stud Scala Hollow

(...) As long as you're planning to develop it to reasonable completion, I'd be comfortable if you submitted it to the PT with a comment that you are still finishing it. Steve (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Black colour in new instructions

(...) I can't really see allocating 'AxleBlack' as a standard LDraw.org color, since the two shades are an artifact of Lego instructions. But you can easily do this on your own - use the Custom button in MLCAD's color dialog to specify a different (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Monorail Curve

(...) I want to improve the Monorail Rack (subpart s\2670s03.dat) for better using. But then there would be a difference of a few teeth between the LDraw-Part and the real one. e.g. a) 2670.dat (short Track) real part: 41 teeth LDraw part: 41 teeth (...)   MOC: Citroen DS (7 studs wide)

Hello, this is my newest creation: A Citroen DS. I always wanted to build one, but I did not know how to build the headlights. When I saw Mattias' Mazda Miata, I knew it: With trans-white plates. Last week I constructed the rest of the model. Here (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Black colour in new instructions

I've particularly noticed in some of the newer technic sets that black axles and friction pins use a blacker black than other black parts, such as bricks, beams etc. In other words, the standard bricks are a very dark grey whereas the axles seem to (...)   Re: BIP Contest: Reloaded....again

(...) Not currently. I had that functionality up for a while, but took it down. Currently, we have 711, so it's only a short time before the first prize package is given away! Hi Jake, Is there a way to tell how many instructions have been submitted already? Am I just missing this on the site? Or is that information classified ;) Ben (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

  Re: BIP Contest: Reloaded....again
