  New MOC: Renault Dauphine

Hello, that's my newest creation: A Renault Dauphine. (URL) When I saw the real car I wanted to rebuild it at once. More pictures available at BrickShelf: (URL) What do you think of it? What would you improve? Leg Godt -Sven (URL) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Can you post the link to the file? I'd like to help and acutally think I know what the problem is but I'd like to see the file to confirm it. -Orion (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Help?-Odd problem

I downloaded James Mathis's wwym .mpd file. All of the sub models work fine. On the assembled and instruction files the model comes out the size of a pin head (no exageration). Zooming in solves this but since you can't zoom in to print pictures I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Bugs in LDraw Design Pad Version 1.5

Having used version 1.5 for a couple of days now, I noticed a few things: * Find does not work. * Ctrl + arrowskeys ignores spaces between values (while it was so useful to jump through the numbers....) And a few minor things: * Find and Replace (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Train Bases

This weekend I have created the Train Base 6 x 22 with Motor Cutout. (As used in set 727 and some others). After some more verification I will upload this part to the PT as x280.dat (one of my last free 3DNs). Looking at the various train bases I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: List of "Star Wars" Minifig Patterns...

(...) Are these available for use/preview/whatever yet? I can't find them on the parts tracker. (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Train Semaphore Signal

I have been working on creating the vintage train semaphore signal in LDraw. The baseplate needs more work, but I would just show you how far I am now: (URL) The handle might not be 100% true, because it is partial hidden and I don't want to break (...)   Re: Car Wash Brush Subpart

(...) I've fixed and submitted the part. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: curved monorail track

(...) I'm afraid but I think this is, in the moment, the only one. I, as the author of the other parts, will begin the curve. After so much questions about this part I'll hold my work on the dragon body parts for a while. Because the difficult (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Car Wash Brush Subpart

(...) OK, thanks for this. You're right, I missed that. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  curved monorail track

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right group to post in, but does anyone know of a good curved monorail track? The only one I can find is the 2672.dat file. However, this track is quite blocky, not really like the real piece which is actually (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Car Wash Brush Subpart

(...) I think Steve is suggesting that if you extend the centre lines of each bristle, they should pass though the x=0, z=0 line. If you look at this subpart from above, the bristles do not seem to radiate from the part origin - the seem skewed. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Car Wash Brush Subpart

Hi all, I've a question about the Car Wash Brush Subpart I created. (URL) Bliss gave me a hold vote on this but I don't realy understand his arguments: "I reviewed too soon. These bristles are not radiating straight out from the center. They are (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Virtual LEGO now available!

(...) Not that I want to rub salt in it or anything, but that's not entierly true either. Bying just one book has a s&h fee of $8.98 while bying a combo is $13.49 (to Sweden). You did save $4.47 though :) Not to mention how much cheaper it got *not* (...) (21 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.books, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Virtual LEGO now available!

  Re: Virtual LEGO now available!

(...) Actually, this isn't true, and is a very good example of deceptive advertising on Amazon's part. Add up Amazon's price for the two books individually, and you get the same price they list there. The "discount" is off the standard list price, (...)
