  Who maintains the lugnet.cad section?

I know that Jake M. maintains the lugnet.inst section but I am wondering you maintains the lugnet.cad section? I'll like to talk to that person(s) about some suggestions for our lugnet.cad section. Thanks, AHui A&M LWorks (URL) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Elections and Membership in ldraw.org

(...) Yup! Soon! Not _exactly_ the way we brainstormed about it, but effectively the same result, I think. I don't think we'll go back automatically and retroactively convert news-posting accounts, for example. I think there'll be a transition (...)   The dead Parts Tracker (was: Problem with account)

Do you guys have an estimate on when this will be working again? Is this an issue of technical difficulties, or are we waiting for someone to get back from vacation? And yes, I know this is all volunteer work. I greatly appreciate having this great (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

New part: Train Track Tappered Power Rail Straight  [DAT]

Any suggestions on a better title, just let me know. This part uses the box3u2p primitive (don't think that primitive is certified yet). The metal parts are missing, I haven't started on that, yet. 0 Train Track Tappered Power Rail Straight 0 Name: (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LSC Proposal 0.99

(...) I would be one of those who would be prevented from voting (at least this year), and I don't have a strong objection to not being able to vote. The restriction is designed to make the LSC a technical group voted on by technically involved (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: LSC Proposal 0.99

(...) I personally feel the restriction is a good idea. However, playing devil's advocate, I feel obliged to point out that since it would increase my voting power (since I am eligible as a software author), it's in my best interests to be in favor (...)   Re: motm/sotm

(...) I agree somewhat, but I think it's better than having no contest in the mean time. -Tim (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  New SubPart - s/6309s01.dat : Duplo Tile 2 x 2 without Top Surface  [DAT]

Without the parts tracker we are starting to get duplication of effort. For Thomas Garrison primarily, here is the subpart for the 2x2 Duplo Tile part, which I have been waiting to submit for some weeks. Chris 0 Duplo Tile 2 x 2 without Top Surface (...)   Re: Non proportional BOM in LPub

When I generate Layouts this comes out: (URL) scale and proportions are out of bound here. I would expect the BOM to be smaller that the actual building step? Jaco "Jaco van der Molen" <jmolen@zonnet.nl> schreef in bericht (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Non proportional BOM in LPub

(...) If you are referring to the fact that some plates are not rendered at the same scale as others, you need to erase your part cache when you change the minimum distance for part image rendering. Kevin (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Non proportional BOM in LPub

(...) I guess you mean that the size of the parts in the BOM are not the same size as the parts in the construction image? Yes. This has to do with minimum distance. I've run into the problem, and don't know how to resolve scale between the (...) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Non proportional BOM in LPub

Hi all (and Kevin :-) I have rendered this (URL) using LPub from the car in set 1682. Great stuff, however the parts are non-proportional? Has this to do with the minimum distance again? Or else: what did I do wrong? Jaco (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: motm/sotm

(...) We _could_. But it would limit participation in the vote more than I would like. Play well, Jacob -- LEGO boats: (URL) (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: motm/sotm

(...) I'd have to check with Terry and Steve, but I think it's a backup issue. I wonder if in the mean time, we couldn't run MOTM via LUGNET's poll system? -Tim (21 years ago, 8-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  motm/sotm

Hi, With all the problems ldraw.org has had over the last few weeks, what happened with March's contests? The site is still showing February's winners. <disclosure> I'm asking mainly because I had an image entered and the suspense is killing me (...)   Re: More information on LEGO Digital Designer and other things

  12 volt train track parts

Has anyone started on the 12 volt train track parts ? I just received some good old blue track :-) including those 12 volt power tracks (how are these called, actually?) and one 12 volt cross. If nobody has done these parts, I'd like to create them. (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.cad)
