  Duplo egg

Hi all, I do not know for sure if this was asked before, but has the Duplo egg part been made? Or some mock-up? Jaco (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) nice- (...) Thanks! (...) Pitty. But understandable. The .space newsgroup is one the most busy ones and I suppose if you are not into this moonbase stuff, you do not read it. Many people do read, but do not comment. But that is OK with me! (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

Re: LPub and Lsynth page for tracking enhancement requests and bug fixes

At home I installed it in C:\LDRAW\PROGRAMS\LPUB on a Win98-SE PC. But I do not see what that has to do with anything for it does work on my W2K PC at work, where I installed it in D:\MJ\LDRAW\PROGRAM\LPUB. Jaco "Kevin L. Clague" (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

Ooh, very VERY cool. I love the shape and the windows you used. Very nice- a cool distinctive part of a moonbase. Less war, more science! :) (...) You'd be suprised. I've seen models equally good that have gotton no feedback at all. -JHK (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase Observatory

(...) Wow, two hours have passed and no one else commented on this yet? Well I think it is a great model. Actually when I read the subject of the post I immediately began running through ideas of how I might build a deep space telescope into a (...)   Re: More Moonbase Madness ...

These are all very cool and well thought of! I am absolutely stunned about the Pyramid thing (URL) you should use straight regular bricks though to give it a more Egyptian kind of look! I am also trying some more moonbase stuff after the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: possible rendering problem with LDLite and transparent parts

(...) I don't know. Sounds to me more like a gimmick than something useful. I wouldn't implement it unless it strikes you as something really fun to try. I think rigging CldliteApp::InitInstance() to be able to render offscreen without a window (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LPub and Lsynth page for tracking enhancement requests and bug fixes

I'd like to add one more bug in LSynth. The display message does not work in Win98. Jaco (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  PT File Checker Down

To whom it may concern: The File Check tool on Parts Tracker seems to be broken. When I hit the submit button, the tool resets itself (clears the file textbox and resets the part type to Parts).   Re: possible rendering problem with LDLite and transparent parts

(...) Na, don't be quiet... rather, thanks for being obstinate about it! Yes, indeed, you are correct, and it looks like I am all wet. Paint Shop Pro fooled me. My bad. Sorry for any confusion. ++Lar (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: possible rendering problem with LDLite and transparent parts

Your help is always appreciated Don! I just tried out LDLite v2.4, and it looks OK too, as do the BMP files Larry sent me. I think it is a problem with aliasing. Which reminds me, I was going to add a dithering-expander option, so that trans-colors (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
