(...) Well, I downloaded mesh.zip, but WinZip 8.1 is telling me that it's not a valid archive. Any guesses? Thanks again. Dave! (22 years ago, 28-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: ldglite broke in Mac OS X 10.2.2

(...) Hi Don and James, I got LDGLite working almost. I have to preface what I say with the following: I don't really have any idea what I am talking about :) The big thing that Apple screwed up with the terminal in 10.2 is the terminal launching (...)   Re: Capitalization of filenames

(...) If you want to stay on friendly terms with people using case-sensitive file systems, you stick to lower-case file names. Play well, Jacob (who uses case-sensitive file systems ;-) (22 years ago, 28-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: L3PAO does not work with LGEO

(...) Well, I don't know the exact nature of this problem. I think it is some registry thing because I run both versions of POV-Ray on my computer and L3PAO still thinks POV-Ray isn't installed :-( You can either live with it or delete 3.5 and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: BrickDraw3D 0.5 Released for OS X

(...) Hey, this is the first time I've downloaded this program but it worked for me in OS X.2.2, though it was quite slow moving pieces and I couldn't figure out how to add parts.   Application name???

A while back their was some development going on of a program that you could supply it a ldraw file and it would let you how much the cost would be if you had to buy all the pieces for that model on-lne via bricklink. Does anyone know the website or (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: L3PAO does not work with LGEO

(...) Jaco travi's solution to downgrade is the BEST option for most people. L3PAO does not PLAY well with POV-Ray 3.5 right now. There is a way to FORCE L3PAO to play with POV 3.5 but you must manually edit some files. Search his forum for POV 3.5 (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  24-tooth Technic gear confusion - Part(s) 3648, 3648a, x187

I am really confused about the variations on the 24-tooth Technic gear which appear in quite a number of the sets I am attempting to inventory/verify. First of all there seem to be two major variations: the earlier one has three axle holes, and the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.db.brictionary, lugnet.db.inv)

(...) This is one prime number relationship in the system. If cell spacing is 20 and stud radius is 6, then a diagonal distance between two studs is 20 * Sqrt(2) - 12, or about 16.28. This is the tube outside diameter. The inside diameter ought to (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)
