I've been puzzling with this for days and I give up. Here's my problem: I can rotate a single part about it's origin but I'm having trouble figuring out how to rotate a system of parts about the origin of a given part in the system. Can someone (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Stickered parts again (Was: How accurate...)

I don't know of there is any "status" of this old discussion; if any consensus ever has been reached in any point. Anyway, here's my idea. A sticker should be a separate part file. You may want to stick it in a creative or humanized* way. A shortcut (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: How accurate need bricks and patterns to be?

(...) Here's something I've been batting around in my head, but I don't know if it's consistent with the sensibilities of the LDraw community, nor if it is really compatible with the existing software. Using your idea #1 from above, might we create (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Lego Designer Software

I bought it tried it, did't like it, sent it back, and after a hefty restocking fee exchanged it for some spare parts. The reason I didn't like it was no import or export functions I also found it doubtful that lego will ever release any new part (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad)

Just to add that I made my pictures with L3P parts. Started a picture with LGEO parts over an hour ago, and it's still only on line 129 of 480. No traces of any black spots yet, though. I don't want to think about doing this rendering with (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Rendering of a Bryce Rollins model

Maybe I'm not an impartial viewer but that looks really nice. I like how you've given the part borders a nice thick line.
