I've had to create a new torus primitive for the Boba Fett/Jango Fett helmet/jetpack. The radius for the center of the ring is one (of course. they all are, if you follow ldraw format). (...) Yes. Color-383 is the "official" choice for "Silver". Furthermore, the chrome on my Boba Fett jetpacks look like silver to me. However, please do _not_ make the default color of any file anything other than "Main Color" (color-16); do not (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Tim, You need to make extra subfiles, for the dithered colors. (LDraw requires this; otherwise, LDraw messes up rendering the dithered colors.) "Dithered colors" are those color codes from 256 to 511. (for ex.): Simply copy all the quads for (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)
