Congratulations Chris, This is a tremendous improvement. I wonder whether interior is really necessary. Personally I would be satisfied with a better-than-current exterior. (...) IIRC, part of what I did to these was to add the type 2 line inside the thin pattern rectangles and subjugate the pattern to subfile. Hi, When I took a closer look at existing parts that use the fire logo (the three flames in red, orange and yellow on a black surface) I noticed a gap between the yellow flame and the black surface. Hi (...) I only used overlap for an some letters, like "X", in a pattern or the red cross. For all the surrounding polygons I don't use overlap. Another effect when not using overlaps is that you can see a small gap between two or more adjescent (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

I'm working on this part (URL) and hve the problem that it has 12 spokes, so it's hard to join it up with 16 segment cylinder primitives. I though maybe I could use the 48 segment primitives, but was wondering what people think - whether I should do (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I'll add my 2 cents as the author of LDView. This won't usually cause any visual problems, but it can. If you enable specular in LDView, it's possible for the shininess to be different on the two, resulting in noise where they overlap. It's (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)
