Re: Stud logos in fan apps

(...) There's some variance on that. Frequently the MegaBloks logo appears on the body of the brick, such as between the four studs of a 2x2 brick, but some newer molds place the MegaBloks logo between the 4 studs at each of the four corners of a (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I remember the discussion about that now from way back then. (...) Sounds like "MEGA" would right out! :-) (Just out of curiousity, do Mega Bloks have anything on the studs?) (...) Yep, seen it; it's highly impressive. (...) Yep, I think so. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Which *Cad do you prefer?

LeoCad is good for minifigure creation. It was a wizzard that tells you build your minfig and pose it however you want. This is a feature that mlcad lacks. So don't throw leocad out the window. I prefer using mlcad but that is what I too started (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Which *Cad do you prefer?

I haven't used anything except ML-Cad. I tried LeoCad once. I wasn't able to move the parts around very easily (probably from lack of reading instructions). Is there anything better? -Rob (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: errata - bad link

(...) Sorry - the filetypesfaq page is still under construction. When I put up the numberfaq page, I thought the filetypesfaq would be available very soon afterward. My bad. Steve (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Tim, The site looks alot better with Internet Explorer and Mac OS 9. Netscape 4.x is still too small. But I think Netscape is dead enough that you don't need to worry about it. I don't even bother with Netscape 6. In Mac OS X it looked fine with (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad)

Re: Is there anyway to know the estimate time in POV-RAY?

  Stud logos in fan apps

Does anyone know what the Lego company's stance is on fan applications putting "LEGO" on the tops of studs? Is file XYZ and animation file. If so, then render just the first frame using Subset_Start_Frame = 1 Subset_End_Frame = 1 This will just render the 1st frame of you file. At the lower-right hand of POV once the file is done rendering it will tell (...) (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
