  castle minifig torsos?

Hello all, I am finally getting around to finishing putting my Trojan horse model into LDraw -- I started LEditing it at least five years ago (really, it's a simple model; I've just been ignoring it) -- and I am almost done. All that's left to do is (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  paradisa style windows/panels

Does anyone have DATs (I don't care if they're only half-done or mockups) for the corner panels that show up in some paradisa sets like the sand dollar cafe? There are two sizes of clear window panels with curved tops, and a corner part for both (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: carriage house / former hospital - Datsville

(...) Yes, how did you make the images used by the VR applet? I especially like this one. (URL) this where the viewer applet comes from? (URL) you use the PTstitcher program? If so, how many source images did it take? Inquiring minds want to know... (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: carriage house / former hospital - Datsville

(...) WOW! This is so very cool. How did you create this? How much work did it take? This results are just beautiful. The zoom in/out feature is great (and if you zoom out you can get some pretty freaky views.) -John Van (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: LDraw History - here's one for the old timers in the group....

(...) Some more dates: September, 1999 Datsville (at first LCADville) was born. Although Datsville never went as far as I (and others) would like to have seen it go, I think it made an important contribution to seeing what could be done with LCAD. (...)   Re: 32530 Technic Pin Joiner Plate 1 x 2 x 1 & 2/3

(...) It looks like the rect.dat primitives used on lines 42-45 are not quite in the right positions. They need to be nudged back a bit. Look here. (URL) it looks pretty good to me. Don (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Road sign square with clip

(...) I'm not sure if this is also a problem with the triangle Clip part but these clips seem to be missing some quads. You can seem them if you zoom in. (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  LDraw Add-On 2.1.5 Now Available

I've posted a minor update to LDraw Add-On (LDAO). This update makes some fixes and enhancements to the various editors. The big new thing is a tool in the text editor that integrates L3P's -check option with the Editor window. This opens a second (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad)

(...) [snip] (...) [snip] (...) No, they should be fine. If you use a line like 0 END ROTATE (upper- or lower-case), that would cause the error message.   Re: Parts Tracker - Using L3P-check to scan submitted files

(...) Looks good. (...) I have used the phrase "0 end of subpart", "0 end of file", etc in some of the parts I have made. Will these get rejected? I usually always try to keep them lowercase. (...)   Road sign square with clip  [DAT]

I've modified this part from the triangle Roadsign Clip-on so whoever modelled the clip part, thanks. Steve: (...) I assume that L3P reports the relevant lines, so it is trivial to remove one of the offending ones. (...) Right. Set a reasonably large threshold (0.1?) and reject based on it. Jacob (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

I didn't list the non-coplanar message with the "reject" group is because the thresholds of coplanarity are variable, not fixed. So we need to agree on what level (...)
