I used Jacob's utility to create the terrain for the CAD scenes I did of Fallingwater: (URL) make the scene, I colored in a topographical map of the landscape with white as high and black as low. I'm having trouble running L3P at the moment. I'm running Win98. I've created an autoexec.bat file that include set LDRAWDIR statements. However, something's gone haywire, and those init strings aren't being carried over to L3P. As soon as I get (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) This could be the ldlite large MPD bug again. The ldlite parser has a problem with MPD files if it runs out of cache. I increased the size for ldglite, but it may not be enough for Datsville. You could try increasing it some more and (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I grabbed "2358p02.dat" and simplified the pattern to three lines, which as far as I remember is the only decoration on the plain straight runway pieces (see <set:6597> for an image). Don: If you try to render Datsville in perspective: ldglite -j -s0.1 town.mpd you will notice some very strange blue lines going from the centre of the window to the blue castle out in the left-side background. They shouldn't be there, and I am (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Don: Some times, mostly when rendering large files, LDGLite reports syntax errors in lines with totally unreasonable line numbers. 1) Why? 2) Could you print out the content of the line as well, so I can try to find the offending lines (if there are (...) I was looking at the unofficail parts list that was created over at ldraw.org a couple of months ago. (URL) appears to be getting smaller. A piece of mine that was on the list is now gone. Are the parts being processed? Is there going to be an (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)
