(...) I've figured out a relatively simple way of working with minifigs in a CAD scene. I copied 979.dat and 980.dat into the MODELS directory, and renamed them minifig_stand.dat and minifig_sit.dat. I then import one of them into my project in (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

[FUT cad.ray] (...) Here's a color file I made based on Anton Raves' color definitions: (URL) works quite well, IMO. To use it, include the following line after the QUAL definition in the L3P'd POV file: #include "legocolors.inc" HTH, --Bram Bram (...) I've been cadding the UCS X-wing fighter, and much to my surprise, the canopy piece HAD been modelled (somewhat complicated) but this part hadn't. It was pretty simple. Hi, I've been looking for this part and can't find it, so I've decided to take the plunge and have a go at my first DAT piece. Thanks, "Dirtman", I have very little spare time, so it is great that you took the time to do this for me. Yes, I agree that there is not enough LDraw flora, but hey don't blame me. I think I have contributed to 10 of the 14 'plant' hits in (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
