  Re: LGEO and colours

(...) I get the same problems. I think it has to do with l3p not reconising it as an "official" ldraw color, but as a homemade/custom color. I do not know how to fix it though. l3p Does this to me with trans orange as well, so it is not just l3p (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Demo of part manipulation in isometric view

(...) I like it! Ultimately I suppose you'd have a toggle for finer-detail motion, but as a demo I think it's quite cool. Would it be possible in the final product to rotate the scene, or even to change the centerpoint of the view? In any case, I'll (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Demo of part manipulation in isometric view

Will this new program have the ability to move objects both in the iso.. view and other views that MLCAD currenlty allows. This would be best! (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LGEO and colours

I've noticed that if I use tan in my models the parts actually come out using the default colour choice set using l3p (greyish if not defined). I've got the complete lgeo download and the #15 update. Anyone else managed to fix this? Or is something (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: 30086 (and 30087) 'Rubber' Dinghy

I'm having a little trouble loading this as a part in MLCAD. When I load it on its own it's okay but when you use it in a Model the bow moves away from the side ribs. Does anyone else have this problem. Other than that it looks good. (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: 6002 mpd version, now I think I got it.

(...) I was under the impression that you can submit them all as one MPD file and then someone in charge takes it apart and puts the individual files in the right directories (as long as the MPD file contains the paths).   Re: 6002 mpd version, now I think I got it.

Actualy I think it would be better to submit the primitives seperately so they can be used on other models as well, plus it makes the file smaller which was why I split the piece up in the first place.   Re: Demo of part manipulation in isometric view

(...) This is exactly how LeoCAD handles moving parts around by default, but there is an option to change it. I personally find LeoCAD awkward to use and have gotten used to the quirks of MLCad. Dan (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Demo of part manipulation in isometric view

Hello again (long time no post). I'm in the process of developing my own DAT-based CAD program. One of the things that frustrates me about MLCAD is the apparent inability to drag parts around inside the isometric view--you're forced to use an (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
