Paul, Just for grins, try the following to manually set the Editor's viewing option. 1. Edit ldraw.ini 2. Locate the section [LDAO Editor]. If that line doesn't exist, add it. 3. In the [LDAO Editor] section, look for a line like: ShowViewWindow=2 (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

A few things to note. First off, I added command line support relatively late in my LDView development. Second, my initial command line support had some issues causing it to only work in certain situations. However, the latest released version (1.0) (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

However for me it is possible to place the new part using the enter position and rotation dialog, also it is possible to move the part in the view using the mouse (If (...) Hi, I'm having a funny problem with MLCAD and I wonder if anyone can help. I have a very large model (just posted to lugnet.cad.dat.models as the Fantasy Skyscraper). Let's say I want to add a new part to this model. On a small model, I would drag (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
