  Re: I'm missing parts' primitives.

BTW: I've checked my LDRAW.EXE and studp01.dat is not in there either, despite it being listed on the LDraw Primitives Reference at (URL) Seems a couple of primitives have gone astray :( Dan (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: rotation matrices

(...) No, the STUD3A has the correct diameter, 8LDU. The problem is the inside of the cross axle holes on the angle connectors. You'll note that a real life LEGO cross axle hole has a rounded internal cross section, which means that you can stick a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: CW compliancy

Most of the ones I've seen that refer to CW compliancy say "not CW-compliant". This is because--to the best of my knowledge--the ones that are compliant should say something like: 0 BFC CERTIFY CW This means that all the quads and triangles in the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Crash-Bug fix available

On my home-page at (URL) you can download a bug-fix release which solves the crash-problem. Regards, Michael (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  CW compliancy

"CW compliant" I have seen this is a few parts now. I do not want to start up an old debate here. Can someone point me to a posting or web site that explains what this is? Thank you, Paul (URL) (finished parts) (URL) (in process) (URL) (planned) (24 years ago, 20-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Explorien Hover MLRS  [DAT]

After some requests, I'm posting a DAT file for my Hover MLRS model. I have not built it in real life, but it should all work. I also did not include many details inside the cockpit or air inlet/outlets. I ALSO did not make step by step MLCad (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Patterned Parts Numbering

  Re: Patterned Parts Numbering

(...) I'd rather not encode file-nameish data into the file-extension. That feels like a bad thing to do -- extensions indicate the *type* of file, not the specific file.   Re: rotation matrices

(...) One (or more) of the three I mentioned. I'd be thinking more about angles, and building the segments, then putting the segments into place. Probably more of a manual process than an automatic one. Steve (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Problem with the description of part 30382.

First sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Anyway I think the description for this part is wrong. (URL) currently says: "Wedge 2 x 12 Triple" I believe it should be: "Wedge 2 x 16 Triple" Please let me know if I should have posted this (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Ldglite version 0.7.1 released.

What with all the new LCAD program releases lately, I feel compelled to release yet another version of ldglite. (Version 0.7.1) It's not really any closer to the real thing (hence the .1) but I had a lot of fun adding more spinning stuff. The latest (...) (24 years ago, 19-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)
