What with all the new LCAD program releases lately, I feel compelled
to release yet another version of ldglite.  (Version 0.7.1) It's not
really any closer to the real thing (hence the .1) but I had a lot of
fun adding more spinning stuff.  The latest l3glite will let now let
you select 5 different spin modes from rubberband to bounding box to
solid.  Use the 'v' key to try 'em all and pick the one most suitable
to your hardware.  Anyways, I figured I might as well share with the 2
or 3 dedicated ldglite users.

Perhaps I can win over some new converts with this recent discovery.
Guess which DAT file viewer actually works fairly well in 256 color
mode on my cheesy old 486 laptop?  That's right, ldglite!  Opengl
dithers the colors quite nicely.  Just try that with one of those
spiffy modern DAT file viewers with the fancypants user interfaces!
;-) So if you too are stuck with an old video card with no memory
give ldglite a try.  It's so retro.

Once again due to trouble SCPing the files over to the sourceforge
the new version is only available right now from the mirror site at
geocities.

Have fun,

Don

PS.  Does anyone want to compile a new MAC executable.  I can only
provide 'em for Linux and Windows.  Also, does anybody actually use
the executables or is the source good enough?

PPS.  Perhaps a subject for offtopic.geek, does anyone else use the
sourceforge?  CVS seems to work fairly well but I have nothing but
trouble with SSH and SCP.
