  L3P and L3Lab

Lars, I currently have LEdit and MLCad on my computer, but I was thinking of downloading another program, maybe L3P or L3Lab. However, I am not sure what the difference is between these two. Could you give me the features/pros/cons on them? Thanks, (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Sub-models

I have some models to which I want to add minifigs as sub-models, but I can't figure out how to insert them as MPD files. When I select Multipart>New Model, I can build a minifig, but can only view one model at a time from the Active Model bar. How (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Gears (Was: Voting Open...)

(...) Hmm. I may be confused. The DACTA gears (see (URL)) may all be DUPLO scale. (...) About the same time as the rest of us. Once we get one standard figured out, some other issue arises. Steve (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Alrighty. And truly decorative parts can still be labeled as decorative. But I'm not retro-labeling *anything*. So, should 32166.dat, Technic Connector Block 3 x 6 x 1 & 2/3 Gearbox, be renamed to Technic Gearbox 3 x 6 x 1 & 2/3 Gearbox (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Macintosh Ldraw part files.

(...) Can Mac's typically extract from other archive formats, such as ZIP? How about ZIPs packaged as (PC)self-extracting files? There's been some discussion about switching the LDraw/LCAD distribution files from ARJ to ZIP. We haven't yet, because (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

LDraw and the Registry (was: Re: More newbie questions)

(...) Ah. Hmm, that's a good reason to agree on a ldraw/bin/ directory (I hate dumping stuff in /ldraw/, and my path is already a mile long). (...) I think so--Wise is fairly open and customizable, but I've never played around with it. It would be (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pinball Machine DAT

(...) I haven't heard anything yet from Robert Stack's people. (...) Thanks. And weenie gripes are fine. I don't even care what my wife thinks of the stuff I build.   Gears (Was: Voting Open...)

(...) I think I've done all except for the largest. (...) DSCTS gears? Are they the same as Classic European Pre-Technic gears? (URL) is there yet another kind? The euro gears are not at all compatible with Samsonite gears. Where can a picture of (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Macintosh Ldraw part files.

I'd like to have a lugnet.cad.mac. I think big things are just around the corner (sorry, privileged information.) As this is my only L-time tonight---CONGRATULATIONS Todd & Suz on the wedding announcement! -Erik P.S. to get the LDGlite-Mac thing (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
