  Golden Astronaut helmets? and Breastplates?

Hi, I'm using MLCad to model an "Original Model" (6457 from 1999, sorry no scan on brickshelf) for the inventory and model repository; but with a few pieces, I'm pretty much stumped: 1) MLCad doesn't seem to have a color for those "golden" helmets.   Re: About Parts file

Thanks, John But I have noe more question, it seems there are several parts files missed, I don't know why they didn't be included in newest parts file? or where can I find others ? BR Zhengrong (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: About Parts file

(...) It's a primitive, that you apparently are missing, Apparently it wasn't included in the latest update, but it is needed for the 2951 technics bucket. Take a look in cad.dat.parts.primitives, it should be there. Download it and place it in (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: tubing

(...) You mean people don't insert 50-Foot Minifigs by scaling them? So much fun... -Erik (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: tubing

(...) That sounds very reasonable. But the cylinder isn't a part, it's a primitive. So to insert one, the user would normally use a text editor of some sorts, not an LDraw editor. The user, being an advanced user, would probably scale the element in (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: MAC lcad programs?

I was reading this month's MacAddict (the "new thinking" on our neighbors on Windows). There is a Top 5 list of Stuff We Want On Mac. LEGO Mindstorms is #1!!! They ask readers to write to Enfield. MacAddict is cool. -Erik (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: About Parts file

(...) I don't know why this happens but it occasionally happens to me when I access Other/S for some reason. I just click OK and everything works fine. Try clicking some other section and then coming back to it. That will probably fix your problems. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  About Parts file

When selected Technic in MLCAD, I got a popup message box as follows: File 48/1-8edge.dat not found! I installed and unzipped all parts file from complete.exe and original parts files, I don't know what I should do, does anyone tell me why? (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: How to use DAT files?

(...) Simply rename it to rcx.dat, should do the trick. Try open it in notepad, and check to make sure that the filename should be rcs.dat. It is usually stated in one of the first lines. Regards John (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  How to use DAT files?

I've just installed mlcad forthe first time and am trying to get the mindstorms pieces for it. I found an RCX DAT file in this newsgroup, but when I downloaded it the file name was ldraw.cgi. I'm sorry if this is a basic question, but what do I do (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Hey all, Here's my first semi-successful attempt at (quasi-) parts-authoring. I'm extremely new at this, and would appreciate any feedback I can get on the changes I made to this part.   (Ldraw) Help: how do I delete unwanted bitmaps?

Hi folks; I've tried a whole bunch of ways to get rid of unwanted pics. I put my Ledit/Ldraw files in my C:\ directory, and I can delete models as I please, but I cannot delete or move the files in the "Bitmap" folder. Whenever I try, it gives me a (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
