  Re: Site change suggestion

(...) Good thoughts. (...) I am behind you here. The thought has crossed my mind a little to change the site's focus to more of MLCad, but I haven't had the time to impliment it. After Kidvention, I plan on inserting the site entirely into (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: NT-specific bug in v0.6 found and fixed: v0.6.1 released

(...) I am using NT and am still having some problems with the latest versions of LDView. I just tried 0.6.1 but had no luck. Versions 0.5 and 0.5.1 worked fine for me, but with the newer versions I either get a window filled with garbled colors (no (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Site change suggestion

(...) Probably :) I use LEdit because it's faster than MLCAD, renders smoother (ie, no redraws every time you move a piece), has tons of shortcut keys, and doesn't pop up any dialog boxes for any reason. When someone creates a higher resolution (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: I need help with pov for kidvention

(...) A "please" would be nice...and maybe you could put an LDraw screenshot somewhere so that whoever raytraces this can see what it looks like. Thanks, --Bram Bram Lambrecht.........Br...L@JUNO.com (URL) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I need help with pov for kidvention

Basicly I need someone to take the .dat file, run it through l3p and position the cameras and lights so that it looks good, because I couldnt use povray to save my life and I need it for kidvention. (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Beginners questions.

(...) Yes I have MLCad and the latest version of LDraw. I have also looked www.ldraw.org. I just wonder is someone has collected to his/her own site all these parts people have made. /Markus (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LDView (formerly L3DView) v0.6 released

(...) Hmmm, I have a similar problem that perhaps someone knows the answer to. LDView (and ldglite when I mess with the source) occasionally crashes. Once that happens I always get a blank page on any opengl program until I reboot. I've seen this on (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: modelling software

(...) The files are converted from the LDraw format because of speed issues (LeoCAD is several times faster than any other LDraw program) and James asked me not to redistribute the original files in .dat format. You do have to spend some extra space (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Beginners questions.

(...) First of all, what I suggest is, if you haven't already, take a look at (URL) - You can get updates for lDraw here. You can also find many other useful utilities, such as ldlite and MLcad (I use these all the time). Making your own parts can (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: LDView (formerly L3DView) v0.6 released

Travis Cobbs skrev i meddelandet ... (...) OK. The previous version, L3DView 0.5 worked on my system, but this later version LDView 0.6 just gives me a blank page. It loads the model allright (it takes time proportional to model size at least), but (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

Selçuk Göre skrev i meddelandet <38F067C7.7F30CF9F@s...ne.com>... (...) As I have almost no experience with LeoCAD, I'm hardly in a position to recommend it (or not). As I understand it, though, LeoCAD uses it's own pieces, not the LDRAW .dat files (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

WOOHOO!! man, that is what you can do in one day?? your expertise with the program make for a tremendous contribution to the ldraw community (not to mention the great models you make). what i'm trying to say is THANKS, BRAM!! ..joseph g (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Beginners questions.

Is there any site where I could download the latest blocks for LDraw? I have those which come with the program but I would like to have more. I can't find minifigs I need. What is the best program to make own blocks? Is it difficult? /Markus (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Datsville petrolium is up!

Re: NT-specific bug in v0.6 found and fixed: v0.6.1 released

(...) Actually it happened to me, On NT 4.0, Version 0.6 didn't even show any model I selected. But Now it Works Again. See ya Rui Martins (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Site change suggestion

Despite the fact that ldraw.org is a site about ldraw, the fact is that any new user trying to build models would almost certainly be better off running MLCad than LEdit. It's user-friendly, and Michael keeps adding more cool new features. It's my (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

NT-specific bug in v0.6 found and fixed: v0.6.1 released

I discovered a bug in v0.6 in my registry handling routines which caused settings to not get saved in Windows NT 4.0 (probably Windows 2000 as well). I corrected this one bug and posted v0.6.1 on the same pages listed below. If you use the program (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: .pov convert
