(...) You add a "plane" object to your POV file, or the easy way is to turn on the floor when using L3P. If you're using L3PAO, all you have to do is click the checkbox. If not, run "l3p -h" to get the list of command line parameters. Adding a floor (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) There are better ways, especially if you want to preserve 24-bit color without a 24-bit color display. By default, POV outputs TGA files after rendering, but I don't know where. In povray.ini, there's a line that you can change to send the (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

What you can do if you have Windows 98 is when you have the model in Pov ray hit the Print Screen button (top row, right side). Then open Paint, click on Edit, and then Paste, and boom there it is. Course you'll want to crop it a little bit and (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

| | Rendered image to jpg?

I have a really silly question. I finally figured how to use Pov ray a little but I don't know how I would go about saving my finished model after it's rendered, in another file format like jpg. I'm trying to put a few models on my website. Told (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

This is VERY strange, and now does look like a bug in MLCad 1.8 (any chance you could take a look Mike) The offending line is 4 16 4 21 -10 7 21 -10 4 23.5 -10 3 22 -10 which MLCad 1.8 thinks is a bowtie, but rotating the points (1234 to 4123) (...) Does anyone know if the handy little LEGO epaulets ("frilly shoulder pieces"?) were ever made into dat files? If not, does anyone know a decent facsimile, at least something to spruce up some minifigs for use as naval officers? Thanks in advance. (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I've just added a function to LDraw-mode which makes the process of composing a bent 73590.DAT Hose Flexible 8.5L very easily. Here's what you do: Insert the end points where you want them. Here's an example: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 750 .dat 1 (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
