(...) Thanks! (...) Nope, I use L3P. I just use Anton's textures. (...) The heads might look smoother in my last raytraces because I only used one light. Dumb luck, you might call it :) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Bram, Very nice work (as usual)! (...) Do you use Anton's parts library as well? I ask because of the smoothness of the minifigs' head...much smoother than the ones I've rendered using stock L3P output. Will Lego Beach Department of Emergency (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) It's hard to say, but with a sky sphere, you will get reflections of a sky rather than a uniform colour in the chrome pieces. It might look better. Fredrik (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

(...) Thanks! I've begun using references more often--which usually results in more detailed models. (...) I used Anton Raves' chrome texture. I know it's a bit too reflective, but I was feeling kind of lazy... It's hard to check how reflective (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: A discovery? and part 3475

(...) Oops, sorry 'bout that. (...) Wow, you're working with the horse? You have my deepest respect! I think that using one tool or another is mostly a matter of taste. I haven't written LDraw-mode to compete with anybody else's tool, but because I (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
