Speaking of which, how do you plot/plan the sweep of the hull? I've done
some practice bits but I can never approximate the curves well; they always
come out somewhere between a basic parabola and a basic V. What's the
secret? Or do you just look at a hull plan and build to match?

At the risk of ditto-ing, I must concur wholeheartedly! All you finks and
your fancy-shmancy ship! Just wait until I figure out what the heck I'm

But there's also some smoothing involved, making sure that there's some kind of relationship between the angle and the rate of change. I'm hoping to get (...)
