Mattias, I have heard people at my local Wal-Mart comment that 'they
couldn't build military vehicles from LEGO®, so they bought megabloks instead'.
I disagreed with them, knowing that MOC's such as yours, Dan Siskind's, etc.
absolutely blow away anything that our enemy Ritvik can ever attempt to
market (and megabloks military stuff is purpose-built to boot)
Knowing LEGO®'s unofficial policy of not producing (contemporary)
military-related models (although that facade is cracking with the release
of the Sopwith Camel, Red Baron, and such)-- for LEGO® to give in and
actually produce such models would, in my view, be a potential gold mine for
TLC and possibly strike a death blow to Ritvik's megabloks.
Now you've inspired me to build tanks, halftracks, and the like...for
flatcar loads! (My one-track mind coming into play again)
Play Well,
-Harvey

I understand that this type of models will not be included in the Official Lego assortment (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)
