Re: Iron Mecha Entry: ML-12 Bulldog II

(...) Eek! ground force I mean. Damn that was some bad writings... OK let me do some LEGO talk. After seeing the contest picture I decided to build the unit as close to it as possible in a realistic near-future style. I built the curvey part of the (...) Secondly, this mecha is just fabulous, both technically (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) --SNIP-- Hi Eric, I have to say this is by far my favourite design of yours in a long time. You've combined your style with the concept art very well. Seems like you need to be given more challenges ;) Tim (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Thanks for posting this Bryce. I know how frustrating it is to have internet problems. -snip- (...) Okay, stop the contest!!! Just give Dave the prize... 1 Wow!   Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Bandolero!

(...) My Espagnol is mostly courtesy of Babelfish, so it's a bit spotty. The vagueness of the language and stylized images (Wild Wild West or Sergio Leone?) make it seem more real, somehow. I think the imagination finds it easier to transform than (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) <snip> (...) I like it - the colour scheme, aided by the colour profile of my monitor, instantly reminded me of the Armada series of transformers, maybe most specifically the Tidal Wave toy.   Brandon Griffith's Iron Mecha Entry - by proxy

Hi all, Just moved to the L.A. area, and met Bryce through work. I am not much of a mecha builder, so when the contest came around I decided to enter. It took me 28 days of planning, LDraw design, and parts gathering, but it was worth it. (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: IRON MECHA ENTRY: Heavy Weapons Mecha Unit (H.W.M.U)

(...) I really like the use of color in your mech--it makes it stand out from the other entries. The Viking horns near the feet are a nice touch too. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)
