Iron Mecha Entry - January 2006
My interpretation of the Iron Mecha competition was a bit different than I
had originally envisioned. First off, I had already decided on Sand Blue as
the main color. Truth be told, this was supposed to be a Sand Blue and White
model, but I just did not like how it was turning out. Bryce McGlone
suggested Sand Green as the companion color (thinking I was using Dark Blue,
not Sand Blue) and the rest fell into place. Relevant info regarding this

I like it - the colour scheme, aided by the colour profile of my monitor,
instantly reminded me of the Armada series of transformers, maybe most
specifically the Tidal Wave toy. I think the way you have done the face and
shoulders on it, made it seem even more like a transformer as well. This is most
definately some Decepticon monster...
A most excellent entry. I have to own up to not actually having done anything -
for all my good intents, I have been bogged down with a similar fight with the
internet (look up e7even on adslguide). So while I will still try to make an
entry - expect it to be belated...
