   I have none of those nifty, wide Technic treads, so my only option for building anything close to a futuristic MBT was to make a multiped mecha with a turret.

That’s fine. I’ll take a steel crab with a 105 anyday, especially this one.

   The turret proved too small for a minifig, so I sort of copped out and made this an “autonomous” tank. Bah, one day I’ll make a turret that can fit those chubby minifigs. ;-)

Yeah, a cupola is about all I can fit on a turret right now, too. Still cool cool cool.
