  Re: Smith

(...) Very well done. The construction on this mech is superb, well detailed, good color scheme, and excellent construction. I like it. The machine guns that come from behind are a very nice touch making it fitting that it's name is Smithereens. And (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Smith

All right! Favorite points: • You fixed the torso proportions. Nice job, really makes a difference. • The "beam bayonet" on the rifle. I need to start messing around with those parts, you come up with such wonderful ways to use them. • The feet. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

(...) Thanks Dave. I really didn't get inspired until I looked at a boring black mech with nothing to offer except his blackness. The only other black pieces I had in bulk were the tentacles/tails in black. I just looked for any open pin holes I (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

(...) on the other hand...I'm still workin' it!! How do you .3.2 do it with all the SNOT n' stuff! Aaaagh! Jeff (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Smith

(...) I REALLY like the rifle, i have been tinkering awhile trying to make a "realistic" rifle without it having a vertical handle sticking out, ive been trying to get the mech to hold the gun itself at an angle (think musket) but i think angling (...)   Smith

Introducing my second mecha, Smithereens! (URL) Since last week, I've found some time and modified how the weapons were mounted to increase its range of motion and I also added a rifle plus some modifications here and there that aren't so (...)   Re: MOC - Tub Thumper

Firstly, I must apologise for replying so late with this one. I'm not trying to bump it. I wanted to reply at the time, but LUGNET for some reason stopped my ability to post, and I've only just got it set up again. I'm also x-posting to .mecha, (...)   Re: Hey a new mech!

I can't believe I missed this. *slaps self* Very cool. I find it hard to comment on your creations, because our styles are so divergent, but I like it. You showcase the possibilities of Bionicle parts, making great mecha out of parts no one else is (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

Yo Jeff! When I first saw this I envisioned you staring at pics of a pair of Spiderman villans for inspiration: Venom and Carnage. That alone got me posting your newest baby to the sidebar. :) Infected! A great idea pulled off by the one guy who (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

I'm a fan too! Pardon the late reply, my spirits have been down. :( The overall form is icky and infected. The use of parts is, as always interesting. The pics are cool. I like the feet and the fingers are cool even though they are static. (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: mecha "moonbase" idea

I guess we could fix that by making the legs and hips one whole "part" so that the builder of the legs can use whatever joint method they want. I think it would be a good idea to seperate parts into classifications for mecha sizes though. For (...) (21 years ago, 18-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) You know I didn't even think about that until I was halfway through taking the pics. It is sad...but collateral damage to the Lady Footlocker thats sure to be attached next door will have to fall under the heading "acceptable (...)   Re: Hey a new mech!

(...) I've said it before and I'll say it again you are thee best at making Bionicle mecha. I like it alot! I like the body construction especially the porportions in the arms and legs. The all black is also a very cool idea gives it a sinister (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

(...) Thanks Alex! Your my only fan! (sniff, sniff).I've had the legs built for a couple of months now but only recently had the time to actually sit down and get finish something.   Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) While I found your review of this moc to be insightful, you made one critical error in judgement: you haven't seen Keith's mom, I've seen Keith's mom! Memo to the smack allergic: In space no one can hear you whine! (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) OK...I'm not a space-hippy or anything...and I don't buy into their "the moon belongs to everyone" baloney...but it looks like the entire moonbase atmosphere supply will be vented into space once those big, unwieldy, (...) (21 years ago, 17-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hey a new mech!

(...) I am amazed that Thrax's MOC hasn't gotten a single review yet... Anyways, It's great! I love the use of the hockey helmet for the head, and as always, the single eye looks great. Can't wait to see your Brick Mecha! mischiefmecha (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
