Keith, I was amazed by the previous incarnation, but this is a major step forward. You've added just the right amount of detail to the wall to break up some of the flat spaces of Station 45, but not so much that it's over busy. I also really like (...) Mmm...the colour scheme turned out nicely. Of course the overall look is good enough to eat, but I really like the use of the grey boat ring to get the feet on an angle...really makes it mechorganic. Heres my newest MOC, the Red Death. It is a fully autonomous robot,capable of operating by itself for days at a time. Andrew, What I tried to imbue in the black head was the character of the Predator such that you'll get intimidated by just looking at it. Stuart, Thanks for the compliments! All four had the basic design underneath and I've essentially tried to come up with different details that were inherent in the character traits for each one. before i begin, i would just like to say, this set was created with kids in mind, and the instructions follow suit, so bare with me... ahem... I'm not the person who built the models in that folder - those models were built by Mark Wilburn. He even built a fully functional (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

wow, you seem to be an expert on this genre of mecha! i really like this one. it seems more refined and proportional than the last (not just the head, either). it looks very sturdy and well-built. i would like to see some more pics of the weapon and (...) I've got to say that I love this one, especially the shoulder armor detailing, but I do wonder if it's built as a model or as a posable work of art. WoW! Jason, Mk II is quite an improvement over Mk I as well it should be! The colorscheme is much more refined and the detail on this model is quite stunning.
