first of all, i've got to give compliments (notice i didn't say "props")to
our esteemed curator for noticing all of those cool mechs that didn't get
any mention. since there are so many, i am choosing to write about one that
stands out in my mind: Tom Hohman's first mech. first of all, this is not
only a fantasic model for various reasons, but the fact that it is a
first-time job just astounds me. it looks very detailed and the color
scheme is very well coordinated. although i'm not too fond of the head and
hands, i really dig the ordinance and weapons. those missiles rock! and,
as always, i admire the proportions of the mech. it looks kind of squat,
but that adds to its "personality". tom, if you are out there, you have my
compliments on a fine piece of work! i would like to see some more poses,
if you can. if you do not read build.mecha comments, then please join our
happy little club!

| Hello everyone! As many of you have commented to me via email, there seem to be more mecha being created than ever before and many of those seem to be getting overlooked. Whether it's because the builder doesn't post here, or because the volume of (...) (22 years ago, 2-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
