Congratulations Eric, you've outdone yourself... again. Jama makes all of what
I've done look like some cheap megablocks kit. I wouldn't want to meet up with
this guy in a dark alley.
Probably the greatest thing I can think of to say about the beast is that it
stands up.. on it's own... holding up it's own weight! Something my dragons
don't do too well. With as much work you've put into this guy, I'm sure you
could have him walking around doing chores for you in no time.
Now I know I'm no expert, I am not even at novice level when it comes to
building talent. But I feel like I should share a few bits of constructive
criticism (if I don't get flamed for doing so to the master of mechs ;).
Technically I'm sure he's a flawless robot. Aesthetically, however, I feel
he's rather disproportionate. Though I know you probably designed his legs to
be as big as they are to hold up his massive weight, his shoulders, arms and
head look too small in comparison. However this is something I could live
with. Truly there are only two things that really bother me about his
aesthetics. I feel Jama's hips are too wide. Maybe if they were 8 or 12 studs
thinner... The other thing is the head, too me, it looks far too small for his
large frame. Maybe if you added a frill or something, somthing to visually
extend the size of his head.
Otherwise, like I said, this is truly an awe inspiring accomplishment. May you
enjoy your long, deserved break. But just remember, now that the bar is
raised, as the master, you can't go back below it ;)
I look forward to meeting with you at Brickfest.
