Mmm...the colour scheme turned out nicely. Of course the overall look is good enough to eat, but I really like the use of the grey boat ring to get the feet on an angle...really makes it mechorganic. Hey there, Jon! This is a nifty little bot you've built. It looks like a mini MDP in a greebly turtle shape to me. WooHoo! Jama is complete! When I think of all the Jama update we've been through to get to the finished product all I can say is: It was worth it! Heres my newest MOC, the Red Death. It is a fully autonomous robot,capable of operating by itself for days at a time. Andrew, What I tried to imbue in the black head was the character of the Predator such that you'll get intimidated by just looking at it. Stuart, Thanks for the compliments! All four had the basic design underneath and I've essentially tried to come up with different details that were inherent in the character traits for each one. before i begin, i would just like to say, this set was created with kids in mind, and the instructions follow suit, so bare with me... ahem... I've got to say that I love this one, especially the shoulder armor detailing, but I do wonder if it's built as a model or as a posable work of art. Jason that is so cool! It's awesome to see the same mecha revisited and improved. The new arms are very cool, nice and bulky. They fit in nicely with the rest of the model. I love all of the minor changes here and there, they take an already (...) (21 years ago, 17-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Wow Jason! i didn't think that that mecha could get much better, but, boy! Did you prove me wrong! The new knees look great! Far more protected against enemy munitions! and the color is absoluteltly fantastic! one thing I didn't notice from the (...) (21 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

has anyone ever actually made a lego bot that meets the definition of running? Lately there have been a lot of bots like the Twirp and my own Son of Walker, that basically meet the definition of walking, in that during their stride they fall forward (...)
