Well, I figure that, since mecha represent a tech level higher than our own, IR technology would also be subject to that improvement. Those are high intensity flame throwers. They redirect waste fuel and heat from the reactor and spew it out all over unfortunate enemy soldiers. These mechas run very hot, and need to dissipate heat. Mark, To answer your questions: 1) Nope, they don't fall apart at the shoulders too easily. I have problems with the feet falling off sometimes, but I haven't found a really good way of getting full posability out of the ankles any other way (and (...) Hi Dave, Your mecha are beautiful as always, but I have a couple of questions: 1) Doesn't the use of a single peg at the shoulder make your mecha difficult to pose? I have a tough time describing the parts I use, but I'll give it a whirl. I've found the best hip joints are the black technic peg hinges. Very nice! I like the use of the green elements; not something you see much of in mechs. You're right, though. You need to build up the thighs and hide those throwbot joints on the hips better. Nice work Mladen! You're site is enormous with quality models! Judging from the amount of high quality mecha MOCs being shown it might be a good time for a Mecha design contest! My favourite addition to this mecha was the stunstick, which is standard issue equipment for the Police Labors (i.e. Mecha) in _Patlabor_, I just wanted to through that obscure piece of info to ya'll!
