I've been experimenting with different mech shapes and I've decided that I am
going to build a female mech. I have the head already built and I thought it
would look a lot better with hair. I tried using hinges and 1xX plates, but
the head is too small for it to look good. I also tried using slopes and other
pieces to build it but it looked just plain, well, bad. Any suggestions as to
how I should go about doing this? I want to use only Lego elemsnts and I am
going to use thread or something only as a very last resort.

(...) (can't remember who) use them on the head of a wasp to great effect. Good luck. (24 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) the center link, and now you've got two long "dreadlocks". I've done this on a mech I built a while ago, and it works fairly well. -Chris (24 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
