(...) Sweet Jesus on a minibike, that is a beautiful piece of work. Hope to see it in person someday. Soren (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Pair of Armored Mechs

(...) Wow! Those are awesome! The chunky shape works beautifully. They're big, they're clunky, they look like they're going to tear something apart. The way you did the head, with the sensors and stuff, is excellent! -Mark (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Pair of Armored Mechs

Hello .Mecha! Here are some mechs. They're a little taller than Bionicle Toas. I was quite glad to find a use for those odd corner parts from set 6441. And these are definitely not inspired by Gundam. At all. Seriously. Uh-huh. Pictures: (URL) pics (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

Fo Shizzle My Rizzle...E this is a nice addition to your fine family of mecha. This one looks like the drunken uncle who shows up at your house during the holidays and drinks all your beer. I dig the hand design, but as usual, I give you highest (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor

(...) Thanks for clearing that up! I read it as "1983 is early in the line" ... (...) There's a depressing thought. Either someone with funnybuns (Leia) or someone who could beat you up if you made a false move. (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor

(...) Um, he said 1983. He means the early years of the 1983 toy line and the first of the smaller sized Joe figures from 1983. See he said 1983. Not the dolls... but action figures, in 1983. That's what he ment. (Info taken from the Department of (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.N.A.K.E. Battle Armor

(...) I think you captured the look nicely. But when you say "early" what do you mean? I seem to recall the first Joe was Barbie sized... (some of my friends (in the mid 60's this was) had them and their sisters were always wanting them to be made (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

(...) find your mechs very impressive by their size and their complexity, I am not at all impressed by this one. I fail to see the difference between this one and the previous ones. As I said, *I* fail to see... Maybe it's just me. But I feel you (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

(...) Wow, Eric. The mecha looks great. One of the things that really jumps out at me is the way you've used slopes all over the body to decrease a possible pixelated look. It gives the whole mecha a very flowing, smooth look. I have a feeling that (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

(...) Eric, Looks awesome! Hopefully I'll be able to find time to come to Paramus and see him in person. Love the shot of Rizmit caught with his pants down: (URL) D. (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha - The Rizmit

Oooh! Nice Eric! I've always loved that color-combo since way before my dark ages! Looking forward to detailed construction photos :) Does it stand like pictured in the store? Looks like lot's of hands can tilt that one to the floor! You must have (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I already was wondering when we would see something new out of your hands; it has been month ago I've heard or seen anything from you... But U R back! O joy! I have to (...) (...) OMG! It's so cute and cuddly looking! You know, for being so chock full of diabolical evilness and such. I was actually looking through YoJoe.com's archives the other day, and I thought it would be amusing to see this built, but there's the (...)
