That's right, yet another mecha! The judge originally started off when iw as
goofing around with parts (a bunch of ball joints and technic holders) when i
decided to make an inverse knee mech with split poseable toes. Well, i though
that those toes would make a better rear skirt for a mecha so i started
building!

With the hips and skirting mostly done i decided to do the legs next. The
legs would determine the shape of the torso, so i build them wide and bulky, to
support a large torso. I was very satisfied with the legs and then needed to
build a torso that fit with them, as well as looked good alone.

After racking my brains for ideas, i stumbled accross an old piece i put
together using wedge plates and hinges, i decided that it would make a good
torso frame. To add a sleek look, i found all of my big black rounded wedges and
attached them to the hinges. There hardest part about this was finding a way to
attach the torso to the hips, covering up the "holes" and finding some way to
attach arms to the torso. After quite some time i completed the torso and then
built the shoulders (which i am quite proud of) and the arms. The head is pretty
basic, but i think it works well with the rest of the model.

And there you have it, another mecha!

Please give me some feedback! i really appreciate any constructive comments or
things you just plain liked about this mecha.

Thanks, Frank

Ooooh yeah. Love that torso. Shoulders too, they look really good with that beefy chest between them. I'm a little put off by the red on the waist, and it could stand more detailing (figures I'd say that, huh? :) ), but the basic concept is still (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Frank, I was looking through your Brickshelf Gallery again, and I gotta say that the (URL) "Jugde"> really is one of my favs, of yours. (URL) It really is interesting and the construction is off the hook! e (20 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
