This is sort of a redo of two of my older (and now pretty crummy looking by comparison) figures: my original Bothan and Stormtrooper.

Disguised in a modified Imperial Scout Trooper uniform, this armor has flight capabilities, perfect in case a hasty escape if required. The helmet, part of the jetpack mechanism, conceals the feline head of the Bothan spy beneath. Armed with a standard issue Imperial blaster rifle, his mission is to infiltrate the enemy bunker on the forest moon of Endor and play a key role in the acquisition of the Death Star plans, vital in the Rebellion’s struggle against the evil Empire.

(several days later...)

With a successful mission under his belt, and fragments of the Death Star burning brightly above head, the Bothan Spy arrives at the party in eblockvillage with his favorite party food: Bothan Baked Beans (yummy!). While undercover, he was forced to participate in Imperial target practice, and several Ewoks met the hot end of his blaster. Consequently, he’s a little worried now that his hosts might be somewhat cross with him. But, beans have a funny way of releaving tension at parties, so everything should be just fine. On the other hand, it’s a good thing this is an open-air party, because, as we all know, Jabba loves da’ beans!

(...) SNIP (...) WOW! even a scale helmet that comes off! no 'switching' heads. excellent sculpts & great use of white slopes for armor. (20 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) Wild as always Mike. The split apart helmet is a thing of beauty. It consistantly amazes me how you coax such shapes and functionality out of a buncha little plastic rectangles. Cheers, -G (20 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
