Thanks for the complement!   I've been constructing bridge designs for
several years now for my train ramps.  If you want to see some of the stuff
I've built, Look me up on Brickshelf or go to http://www.scltc.org/  .
We're just getting off the ground with our site and should be making
upgrades soon.

Hi all,

I recently saw Brad Hamiltons picture of a huge train brige build with • technic
beams. It really looks great!

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=4342

I also build a bridge for my latest train moc's, now my question is:

What is a clever idea for a ramp to let the trains drive up to the bridge? • Just
a nice bridge is a bit lonley?? E.g. building the yellow ramp like the • idea
book 7777 offers it is a bit beams-killingm, even if you need to get quite
high, like Brad's bridge.

I could imagine that it will need a lot of space to set up such a ramp? • Who has
got a nice idea for some ramps. A minimum pieces varation would be • helpful.

OH! Trust me you will need a lot of space, of approximately 4ft. square
(3.3m x3.3m) per ramp!  A tip, although I haven't posted the method of how
to do this on our group site,a spriral ramp is a very efficient means of
achiving the goal height.  It can be rather long to cover here, but if you
are interested, sent me an email.
