Only an hour or two? Either a) you have no kids, or b) they're not interested
in Lego (what?!?), or c) they're much older than my kid (age 4 1/2). I spend

Don't just sort by color. Spend a few bucks on a plastic organizer box with
dividers down at the hardware store. Plan on putting all of your *small* parts
in it, regardless of their color. It's never fun to have to hunt for a 1 X 1
plate or tile, or a Technic half-peg. Buy two if needed. Or three, or...
