Hi all,
I have been playing with LEGO for about four or five years, and have
inherited my two older brothers collections over time, anyway, I don't have a
collection nearly as large as most of you.

Ahhh.... not all of us have as big collections as it might be portrayed. Some
people have massive collections, true, but many people (including lurkers,
newbies AND oldtimers) are on limited budgets and/or just don't have much lego.

I know my collection is nowhere near as large as some people's here; but I
still build, create and post. (Heh - I post more than many people combined, I
think ;-)

Any building tips, hints, or anything that could help at all
would be so great.  Thank you all.

Start small. Don't try to build something huge or extremely complicated at
first; just try a little creation or two.
I'm not sure what theme you like, but I know that my first creations after a
long builder's block were minifigs. I tried a castle after that; that didn't
get far, and was scraped after a few days. OTOH, the inn I tried a while later
started small (just a small part of a 32x32 baseplate - barely takes up 1/2 of
it) and evolved as I went along (feedback I got while building helped a lot!).
It turned out the MOC I'm still most proud of. (Certainly more than previous
MOCs, that were bigger, but in no way complete or well-designed).

Hope that helps - just a few cents.
