I found a few other uses for the eggs. They've been sitting on our coffee table
and I can't stop playing with them. I started some seeds inside one. My Dinos
are finding uses:

They remind me so much of my Mom's L'eggs (TM) Eggs. you know, those white
plastic eggs of aprox the same size that pantyhose came in? In the 1970's when
an eco-reuse-for-crafts wave hit us, everyone was using them in Christmas
decorations, Easter baskets, etc., and as fake eggs for gals like me "playing
kitchen."
They were remarkably easy to crack open ;-)
I think LEGO is smarter than we think sometimes.
From this female's perspective, I instantly saw it as a throwback from my own
childhood -- making all the old applications new, with bonus of "The Egg" being
LEGO compatible as well. score! And I don't have to buy unneeded pantyhose!
I wish availability would pick up..

p.s. I know this is a family show, but I don't think this will offend... Ok, so
I admit, the first thing I did with the egg shells was hold them up to my chest
and laugh. ;-)
