Hey all, Seeing what miracles Ken Takeuchi has worked with ABS, and seeing that Karim and Pat are hinting at updates to their pages, I'd better announce mine before their awesome skills shatter my ego! (Again...:-) I've added five new nanofig-scale starships to my Web site. I've been working on them for about four months now; the latest was the result of an overnight building frenzy after being inspired by Ken's models last week. Anyway, you can see them at: http://www.io.com/~jsproat/lego/nanofig/index.html The quality of the pics isn't the best; I'd gladly take suggestions on how I can improve my digital camera skills. Not just one model but a whole line of them! Great work as usual, Jeremy. Here are some things that I noticed: Consistent use of engine design (cone in sw engine, or similar) except for the Embark-class Destroyer. It really makes the whole line of (...) (...) They are so cool! It has something your own. I was caught by the smallest destroyer and the biggest Dreadnaught. Both got an interesting multi-vectored assembling. (...) Looks like you are working under lighting conditions too dark. Try a brighter light source or adding a couple more less-bright light sources. If you get too much overexposure on the shiny bits, then also try diffusing the light by bouncing it (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Dude, you rock! These, as usual for you, are great. (...) Try more light and multiple light-sources. Something I've had some limited success in photographing scale models with is using the cheap-o aluminum reflectors with photo bulbs in them -- (...)
