  Re: House on the Oasis

Hi Melody, This is outstanding! I particularly like the outside fence design with the interspersed bricks and tiles. The interior detail is amazing, with lots of great furniture solutions. I'll be coming back again and again for ideas. Bruce (21 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Very nice, Mellio. Nice clean lines, smooth build. The comparison pix are a nice touch. If I were a minifig, I'd move in right away :-) -Tom McD. (21 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Very nice! I particularly like the bars around the rose garden. The MOC's as a whole have a nice peaceful "gardeny" feel to them. David Gregory (21 years ago, 31-May-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Who's tubtattoo?

I noticed a very nice John Deere combine under the "tubtatoo" Brickshelf directory a few years back. There seems to be more and more postings, but no contact. The recent LAF Wessex is great. (21 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build)

Ah yes, the one piece that always comes up in the "wouldn't it be great if LEGO made this piece?" discussions. :) Yes, this fence is actually pretty flimsy, with those fence pieces held by only one stud.   Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

Both of those are good ideas. I was kind of hoping of making something that a tank/truck could "bust through". The net would be better for that, but the grill looks a bit better. I also thought of using a bunch of these: (URL) I don't know how you'd (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build)
