Playing around with this, I came up with these two fences.

The red & grey fence uses the (rarer) narrow clips allowing everything to
line up nicely.
The black & white fence uses the more common wider part 4081b, giving a 1/5
stud overlap from one fencepost to the next. For this reason each panel has
been held to the next with a 2x4 plate creating a very sturdy panel, but
with only every fifth fencepost being attached to the ground!
